ROBYN FARLEY
Clinical Psychologist | BA Psych (Hons), M Psych (Clinical)

Hi, I’m Robyn. Growing up in a family of big personalities, I developed a deep appreciation for listening, observing, and connecting with others from an early age. This foundation inspired my journey to becoming a psychologist. I take pride in creating a safe, respectful space where people feel heard, valued, and understood.

Since 2001, I’ve worked as a clinical psychologist in both public and private sectors, supporting children, teens, and adults. Since 2005, I’ve had a particular focus on working with ADHDers and Autistic individuals, developing a passion for neurodiversity-affirming therapy. This approach emphasises non-judgmental acceptance of diverse experiences and recognises the value of varied brain function in contributing to human diversity.

Core Values in My Practice

• Recognising neurodivergence as a valid and important part of human diversity.

• Respecting clients as experts in their own lived experiences.

• Using insights from neurodivergent voices to inform and enhance my therapeutic approach.

I integrate evidence-based practices such as mindfulness (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Parenting), schema therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming frameworks to support clients’ mental and physical well-being. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is key to achieving meaningful change and always strive to provide a warm, collaborative environment where people feel comfortable and supported.

More About Me

Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor adventures, live music, reading, cooking, swimming, running at the beach and scuba diving. I’m also a mum to two teenage daughters. My curiosity about neurodiversity often extends into my personal life, as my husband can attest—I am always reading up the latest research on ADHD and Autism.
